DHARANA

dharana The concentration or dharana are the fundamental pillar of the meditation. You the debit side to exercise until achieving it and this way to be able to meditate; he doesn’t fall of a tree, it is necessary to work to get it. It is easier to learn looking at the flame of a candle; if at the beginning he is not able to, attempt looking at it the flame for more time again. It should not be forced, at the beginning it can cause him headache; he perseveres and begin to reach their internal harmony. When the image of the flame is as stuck in its mind, closing the eyes and he will be able to see it growing inside you.

It can happen him that he doesn’t need the flame and closing their eyes can see the light in their interior; from here it is very easy to pass to the meditation, where their thoughts flow in the light until they in one alone. When both melt, he appears a third, called ecstasy or samadhi.Para the meditation, Sai Dribbles he speaks of three stages. In the first one he says: I am walking in the Luz; in second o’clock: the Luz is in me, and in third o’clock: I am the Luz. When both first they disappear and you arrives at third o’clock, that is meditation.

dharana_2 Another form consists on maintaining the attention of the concentrated mind with stability on a single part of the body, excluding all other thing, until it begins to feel that part. For example, try to concentrate the mind on one of their feet, even on a fingernail of the fingers of that foot, until it truly ends up feeling how that fingernail grows. Concentrating the activity on their mind, focusing all their observation force especially on a thing, it is not easy for a beginner. It is advisable to begin to practice the dharana with their own heart. If he finds this too difficult, offer, at the beginning to be represented vividly in the imagination a lotus flower with a brilliant light throwing their gleams from her, and imagine that this light is irradiated from the exact center of its heart. Equally he will be able to imagine that that radiant lotus flower is in its brain, in the throat or in any other center. he can also practice concentrating on any object that is happened, be abstract or concrete, whenever it is something beautiful that it inspires or ennoble.

It is not small gain knowing the own ignorance–San Jerónimo.

There is a few great starter decks out there, the rider waite tarot cards being my favorite. Once Again, take the data that you get from them and check with your intuition first. Does a deck speak to you? And if so, what does it say? Do you think you’d be able to have a uplifting conversation with it? If you get a resounding “yes”, that’s a superb starting point.

I don’t think that the force of well-honed intuitive skills can be understated. Books can be very useful, but I think you need to engage intuition originally, so that you see their message through your intuitive eyes, so to speak. That way, usable content pops out at you, and you can leave the rest. That is how it works for me, at least.
