The shamanism formerly was practiced by a sacerdotal elite and what we know mainly like shamanism, in Peru, after five hundred years, it is not the authentic shamanism, because this shamanism is lacking of which it is the work of self-discovery We could say that the shamanism that practices now is like the official medicine, where the patient goes to the doctor so that it solves the problem to him and the doctor tries to solve his affection to him through chemical substances without arriving at the essence of the disease.
Juan Ruiz Naupari: Essential Shamanism
The shamanism is a disciplined way to obtain aid and knowledge, based on the premise of which we do not have necessity to limit to us to operate in a reality, a dimension, when we needed aid.
Another reality that us can lend aid in the life, a full reality of beauty and harmony, ready exists to offer he himself type to us of wisdom on which we read in writings of the great mystics and prophets. The only thing that we must do is to maintain the mind free of prejudices and to make the effort to follow the footpath of shaman.

Like often receipt e-mails soliciting from me that it defines what is shaman or what is the shamanism and the way to make contact with enemy with some “shaman authentic”.
Only shaman which I know in person is the Peruvian Juan Ruiz Naupari, with who work for some years. In addition to him, Josep Maria Fericgla, a Catalan specialist to whom met in Barcelona and Christian Salado, a Cuban doctor with whom I took a course from aural vision, has taught and clarified many things to me with respect to this subject.
Now I know that it is not possible to be spoken of shaman nor of shamanism in generic terms, since nowadays different types coexist from shamans and shamanisms in our planet. What differentiates to from others is, in the first place, its intention and secondly the tradition to which they belong and the formation that have received.
According to there is counted Juan to us Ruiz Naupari, the original intention of shamanism was the self-knowledge and like so, it constitutes one of the oldest ways towards waking up of the human being or illumination, as it is called to him in other doctrines. To this one type of shamanism Juan it calls essential shamanism to differentiate it from the later intentions that, to the passage of time, were acquiring the heirs of the tradition which they separated more and more of the old knowledge.
Between these later intentions, the most spread at the present time it is the healing, mainly of symptoms and psychic and physical diseases; but also there are some who use the calls “schamanics powers” for the attack and the defense, or simply to make money causing a species of “tourist shamanism” that responds to the demand of “trips” using the calls plants of being able, like good adviete Josep Maria Fericgla.Para to make contact with enemy with “shaman authentic”, first is then, to define what is what we want to know what type of shaman interests to us.

This not necessarily means that we must seat to hope that shaman suitable to our intentions is materialized in front of us, simply means that our inquiries, our attempts and efforts to obtain what we looked for, will only be successful when our will is unified in an only sense, which makes us feel relaxed and safe that we will possibly obtain it. Most of the times this process is totally unconscious.
Time before finding with Juan Ruiz me, or had decided that the self-knowledge was what the more it mattered to me and or had taken my first steps in that sense.
A day met to two friends on their experiences with ayahuasca and shortly after, these same friends invited me to char it on “Cosmology Inca” where I knew Juan Ruiz.
From then I began to work with him and to receive its lessons like part of my personal way that includes the study not only of the essential shamanism, but of everything what Aldous Huxley gave in calling “perennial philosophy”, that is, all the sources of ancestral wisdom that take us to the love of return, teaching to open and to maintain the heart to us open.
Next you will find a synthesis bibliographical of the authors who I have consulted with respect to the subject of the shamanism and extracts of the main ideas of Josep Maria Fericgla and Juan Ruiz on the matter.
