THEN & NOW

The same corner. A little change.

A photo can help you notice what has changed.
Put an earlier photo beside a recent one, and enjoy the room you have made your own.

An earlier view of a walnut shelf and a vase with green branches by a window.
THEN A familiar corner.
The same corner rearranged with white flowers in the vase and a small linen-shaded lamp.
NOW Fresh flowers. A little light.

Illustrative photos of a fictional room.

Your first book.

  1. Add a room photo.
Choose photos using the add-photos button. Photos taken on the same day belong to one book. Photos without a capture date appear under an unset date; you can edit it later.
  2. Open a cover.
Tap a book on your shelf. Tap the right side to move forward, or the left side to go back. You can also swipe between pages.
  3. Revisit then and now.
Open a book and use Compare in the top-right … menu to place an earlier photo beside it. To keep a magazine-inspired image in Photos, use the image export option in that same menu.

Keep your
memories safe.

Your journal is stored inside the app on your device. No account is required, and Roomlogue does not provide automatic cloud sync.

Before replacing your device or deleting the app, export your journal from Settings and keep the file somewhere safe. On the new device, restore your journal from that file.

Export again after adding photos or making changes.

Need a hand?

A photo keeps loading

Photos stored in iCloud may take time to download. Check that the photo opens in Photos, that you have a connection and enough storage, then try again.

I cannot take or save a photo

Check Roomlogue's camera and add-to-Photos permissions in your device settings. Return to the app after changing them.

My saved journal will not open

Try the retry button on the error screen. Deleting the app can remove locally stored records. Before reinstalling, make sure you have an exported journal file.
